“Love Me Tender” – 5″ x 7″ Embroidered + Matted Linocut Print
The succulents on my kitchen windowsill function as a frequent reminder that there’s a time for growth and a time for rest. Just as we must alter our care for these lovers of sun during long periods of darkness, we too must adapt how we care for ourselves and our loved ones during these days of dormancy. If we are to survive the months to come, we must move about with gentleness, softness, and quiet resilience. May “Love Me Tender” aid you in this daily struggle.
Measuring 5″ x 7″ matted, “Love Me Tender” has been hand-drawn, carved, printed, and embroidered onto mulberry paper and cardstock. It was printed using Earth Green light-fast vegetable-oil based ink, and embroidered using 100% organic cotton thread.
