Description
Title: “Ode to the Cerulean Warbler”
Material: 100% Eco-Dyed, Hand-Printed Cotton
Garment Care: Made with love, wash with care! Part of the beauty and whimsy of natural dyes is that their color may change in time. Hand-washing with cold water and pH neutral soap is recommended to best preserve the integrity of each garment. Store out of reach of the sun’s rays to prevent further fading.
Fun Fact: Due to forest fragmentation, the Cerulean Warbler’s population is dropping faster than any other warbler species in the United States. Between 1966 and 1999, the Cerulean Warbler experienced a total population loss of 70%. Luckily, hope is not lost and there is much we can do in protecting this wee-winged creature. For starters, trash the pesticides and let the birds focus on pest control. While you’re at it, why not start a compost pile out back for those kitchen scraps you’ve been trashing? Two birds, one stone.
