Garment Care: Made with love, wash with care! Hand-washing with cold water and pH neutral soap is recommended to best preserve the integrity of each garment. Though you may wash them in the dryer, I personally line-dry all of my printed textiles for added longevity.
Fun fact: This set of tea towels pairs best with a mug of floral tea and Eamon Grennon’s poem, “Winter Bees.” From the second and final stanza,
Cells and combs asleep in the faintly gilded dark: the queen’s
in there, her felt presence pulsing and pulsing. What sort of worker
am I, stalking the swampy fields as far as the lake
as if searching for a sign that things will turn out right
in the end? suck of wellingtons in turfy water, green gleam
of a fern in the leaf of rock, a little yellow flecking
in an acre of furze, some fresh impulse in the sudden sunlight
pushing through bundled cloud. Something augurs, I believe,
in these worker bees who have ventured out, seven of them,
to scent the south wind, what sweet forecasts it may hold
between its teeth for the queen, their needed heart in the dark,
their single longing. Their plain style is: suffer, survive;
whatever turbulence the weather sends, bring back
something.
